Hello Everyone ~ I am sharing a great Feels Like Frost Quick and Easy card today.
I had a nice relaxing day yesterday. I spent some time in my craft room and made the last few cards I needed for this week, organized my card ideas for next week, made my In Color club cards and pulled some of the supplies, made my card for my Facebook Live tonight, and put away all my supplies from yesterday’s workshop. I did not get my birthday card made so I will be doing that this afternoon. I also had a Newcomer’s meeting last evening I went to. Bijou has a spa appointment this morning and I have a conference call after that. Then I will be in the craft room working on cards for the blog next week. I like to work ahead when possible!
I love the card I made today using more of the Feels Like Frost dsp. I only have 11 papers left to share an idea with you and I will have created an idea for each of the papers in the pack. I hope you have gotten some great ideas and don’t forget this paper is part of my Holiday Catalog 2019 Paper Share. Just think when you get this paper you will have 24 ideas to use this paper at any time during the year. Don’t miss this great opportunity to get a sampling of some gorgeous paper in the Holiday Catalog. Check out the post here.
Today’s card is a #ShopYourCraftStash idea. I have a long retired die set that I loved and did not get rid of. I love word dies and the Seasonal Frame thinlits dies has the word “Snow” in it. I knew it would be perfect for the paper that has the snow covered pine needles on it. I cut a piece of the designer series paper and mounted it onto a piece of Seaside Spray card stock ~ have I mentioned how much I love this color? Then using the Silver metallic edge ribbon, I wrapped it around the bottom of the panel and secured it with Tear & Tape ~ remember to sandwich your ribbon between some Tear & Tape to ensure your ribbon stays tight on your card!. This panel was then mounted to a Whisper White card base. Using a scrap of Seaside Spray card stock and the “snow” die from the Seasonal Frame thinlits dies, I cut out the word. The Wink of Stella pen was used to add some sparkle cause you know I love my bling! Multipurpose Liquid Glue was used to attach the word to the top of the card front. To finish off my card a bow was tied using the Silver metallic edge ribbon and then the bow was added to the strip of ribbon at the bottom with a glue dot. Here is the completed Feels Like Frost Quick and Easy creation.
